From deeper dives into your website analytics to better targeting of personalized content, the future will belong to those who rely less on what their gut tells them and more on what the data proves to be true. You don’t have to become a digital expert yourself — clearly the insights quoted above are directed toward large companies with dedicated marketing departments — but someone on your team should be. Whether that’s an in-house business manager or a third-party agency, they should be able to explain what they’re doing to reach aesthetic consumers, why they’re doing it and what results they’re achieving. If they can’t or won’t, the crystal ball says it’s time to make a change.
