It’s 2015: Do you know where your new patients are?

As the new year gets underway, it’s no idle question as the rules of engagement evolve at an ever-faster pace. Nor is it a coincidence that at the same time that the means of reaching consumers are proliferating, the challenges of actually connecting with them are as well.

What’s that mean for brands? The folks at Curata asked some of the leading experts in content marketing to answer that very question and they came up a wealth of insights on what the future holds and what it will take to be a successful part of it:

If you want to convert, you have to connect

From deeper dives into your website analytics to better targeting of personalized content, the future will belong to those who rely less on what their gut tells them and more on what the data proves to be true. You don’t have to become a digital expert yourself — clearly the insights quoted above are directed toward large companies with dedicated marketing departments — but someone on your team should be. Whether that’s an in-house business manager or a third-party agency, they should be able to explain what they’re doing to reach aesthetic consumers, why they’re doing it and what results they’re achieving. If they can’t or won’t, the crystal ball says it’s time to make a change.
